Generational gap bridged in Chorley

Children from Noah’s Ark Play School popped in to have some fun with residents at Aarondale Care Home in Chorley last week.

The group enjoyed lots of different activities, but it was the story telling that brought both young and old out of their shells.

Ann Sheward, Home Manager, explained: “It’s great to see the energy that bringing these two sets of generations together can have. This was the first time that we’d tried anything like this, and as it was a huge success we’re hoping it becomes a regular thing.”
