It was ice cream time at Barrington Lodge

When the snow disappeared, and the sun came out, the residents at Barrington Lodge Care Home in Bishop Auckland went to their very own ice cream parlour, which featured some blasts from the past.

Although traditionally old school favourites the delicacies are still popular today. The residents enjoyed Knickerbocker Glories, ice cream floats, banana splits and many more.

The residents had a lovely afternoon eating their treats and having a nice time reminiscing about the good old days. The afternoon was a great success and everyone who joined in had a Raspberry Ripple of a time!
