Residents at Bishopsmead Lodge Care Home in Bristol, had lots of half term visitors last week, as the local children’s group brought in some extra visitors for their scheduled play time.
Francaise Miles, Home Manger, said: “The residents really enjoy their time with the children, and the fact that we had extra visitors this time went down a real treat. Everyone went off into groups, and did lots of different activities including colouring. However, some of our small visitors were just happy to have cuddles and watch the fish in our tank. The residents’ mood certainly lifts when the children come and visit.”
