The team at Campsie View Care Home are delighted to have received ‘Very Good’ and ‘Good’ ratings from the Care Inspectorate following their recent inspection.
The home received scores of ‘Very Good’ in the areas of 'Leadership’ and ‘Staff Team’ and ‘Good’ in ‘Wellbeing’ and ‘Care and Support Planned’.
The regulator reported that: “People experienced very good care and the quality and variety of meals were good. The activities provision was very good and was informed by what people wanted to do. People's bedrooms were very comfortable and had been personalised to a good standard.”
The report also noted that: “We observed caring and attentive interactions between staff and people experiencing care. This was inclusive of staff in different roles such as domestics, kitchen and maintenance staff. This contributed to the homely atmosphere and people having a sense of security. Links into the community had increased, with people going on outings, and visiting community shops and cafes.”
Relatives told inspectors that: “The staff have been very good and I'm hard to please." and “I have absolutely no concerns, just amazing.”
Home Manager, Nicola, said: “We are extremely proud of this achievement which shows the entire team’s commitment and dedication. Providing great care is all about putting our residents’ health and happiness at the heart of everything we do.”
