This week marks Care Home Open Week and the team and residents at Campsie View Care Home hosted a weeklong talents show to showcase everyone’s fantastic hidden talents.
Our first hidden talents star was our very Home Manager Iain, who made a big entrance by bringing his bike in to show everyone. Iain gave an interesting presentation as part of our show and tell session.
Iain told us he had been cycling for many years and explained how much bike cost nowadays and all the cycling gear you should wear.
Next up was our lovely resident Christine who has a great love for knitting. Christine has knitted blankets for many years, which she donates to local charities. Everyone was incredibly impressed by her talent and praised her for her acts of kindness.
Head Housekeeper Laura galloped into the spotlight to show off her love for horse riding. Laura wore all her horse riding gear and even brought in a saddle to show our residents. All that was missing was her horse!
Campsie View Care Home is located in Kirkintilloch, Lanarkshire and provides Nursing Care, Nursing Dementia Care, Palliative Care, Respite Care and support for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.
