The Meadows Care Home in Huntly attended the national Four Seasons Care Awards on Wednesday night, with Senior Carer nominee Amanda King, who was shortlisted for the award of Senior Carer of the Year.
Amanda has worked at the Meadows for a number of years and was nominated due to her ongoing dedication to her role and unwavering support to fellow colleagues and residents alike.
She was unfortunate not to scoop the award but Amanda thoroughly enjoyed attending and was honoured to have been included as a finalist, before she commences her nurse training with the Open University in September.
We at Meadows look forward to Amanda joining the RGN workforce and we know she will be fabulous! Congratulations Amanda and well done on this well-deserved recognition.
