National Carers’ Week was celebrated at Laurels Lodge Care Home in Aberdeen by residents, relatives and staff. Everyone present enjoyed a simple afternoon with a small tea party with cakes and sweets, and carers were presented with a box full of treats and a thank you card from Four Seasons Health Care.
One of the residents, Margaret, who used to be a nurse commented that the carers do a very good job and thanked them for everything they do.
Home Manager Sheila Gesma said:
Our carers play an important role in providing very good care to our residents; they all deserve to be recognised and we appreciate their hard work and dedication.
"I’m always proud of the staff here at Laurels and will never get tired of thanking them every day for what they do.”
