Celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Residents at our Four Seasons Care Homes celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee! The homes were decorated with union jacks and everyone dressed up for the occasion.

At The Cedars and Larches Care Home, residents and the team celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee in the garden, everyone enjoyed the buffet style traditional British sandwiches and fancy cakes with cups of tea! Entertainer John West performed old British classics for residents to sing along with! It sure was an afternoon to remember.

It was singing and dancing all afternoon at Shawcross Care Home as residents and their families celebrated the Jubilee with a karaoke tea party in the garden. Everyone enjoyed classic British sandwiches with crisps, cakes and of course a cup of tea. The entertainment was led by singer Danny who sang all our favourite by Elvis Presley and Tom Jones!

At Evedale Care Home residents made decoration for the home in their craft activities in the weeks leading up to the event. They also supported the Queen in planting thousands of trees across the country, by planting four fruit bushes in the garden. Resident’s family and friends were invited for a garden party where everyone enjoyed food, drinks and lots of garden games.
