Congratulations to the team at Osborne Court Care Home who are delighted to have received a ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following their most recent inspection.
The home was praised for its person-centred approach to care and rated ‘Good’ overall and in the key categories inspected; Safe and Well-Led.
The CQC reported that: “The registered manager, deputy, unit manager and staff team maintained a clear focus on continually seeking to improve the care and support people received. They were a good, cohesive group who worked well as a team” and “Staff were enthusiastic and happy in their work.”
The report also noted that: “The ethos of a person-centred approach to care and treating people as individuals was consistent amongst all staff.”
Residents told the CQC that they felt safe with one saying: "Yes I do feel safe. I do not wait long if I need help. The staff check on me which makes me feel safe".
Home Manager, Rowena Gillespie, said: “We are very proud of our inspection report and I’d like to thank the whole team for their dedication to providing our residents with such wonderful care.”
