Barrington Lodge Care Home featured in The Northern Echo newspaper this week with a lovely story about a local girl collecting Easter Eggs for all the residents.
Ellie-Mae Harker, 11, has been asking people in the local community to donate Easter treats to make residents smile during these challenging times and has collected over 300 chocolate eggs so far which she is going to share with Barrington Lodge and other care homes in the area.
Beth from the Magic Moments team said: “It is absolutely lovely what’s she’s done, a big thank you from all of us here at the home.”
Barrington Lodge Care Home is located in Bishop Auckland, County Durham and provides residential care, nursing care, residential dementia care, nursing dementia care, respite care, palliative care and intermediate care.
