Most people love the Eurovision song contest. It gives people a chance to enjoy a night of cheesy entertainment that has spanned decades.
From famous singers to infamous performances it’s a competition where you can usually guarantee there is something for everyone.
In Hetton-le-Hole, residents, relatives and the care team at Elizabeth Fleming Care Home held their own Eurovision party.
Lorraine Woods, Home Manager, said: “There were flags from all over the world displayed around our home, and the residents even took part in their own singing competition using the karaoke machine before the big event. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the content, and thought that the entry for the UK was really good.”
