Members of the Hallgarth Care Home Art Club decided to create their own wall calendars as their first project this year.
The residents came up with the idea of making a slim line calendar, with the topic: 'Nature at its best'. The idea grew from there, and in the end, the life cycle of a tree was decided upon.
Using cotton buds to dot the leaves, each resident painted trees to represent each of the four seasons, before mounting the pictures and turning them into a decorative calendar.
Mary and Kenneth are pictured here showing off their finished masterpieces, which will hang pride of place in their bedrooms.
