Friday’s entertainment at Hallgarth Care Home in Durham was provided by singer and guitarist John Fisher.
Angela Muir, Home Manager, said: “It was a nice change, to sit together and listen to pure music without amps, backing tracks and microphones. It was so simple. Just a man and his guitar with everyone singing along reminiscing and having a relaxing afternoon.
“We heard songs from the greats such as Johnny Mathis, Jim Reaves, Nat King Cole and The Everly Brothers to name a few. It was pure bliss.”
