Hallgarth residents enjoy their monthly outing to St Oswald’s

Residents from Hallgarth Care Home in Durham, spent a wet and windy afternoon meeting new friends and catching up with others from the community over tea and cake at St Oswald’s Church Hall.

The get together was organised by the Student Community Association. After a chat, everyone was entertained by a woodwind quintet, who has been playing together for over a year. They gave everyone a preview of their up and coming classical concert piece.

Joan, a resident at the home, said: “The concert was amazing. The students are really talented. They made the audience really feel the music, which is a fantastic achievement. I wish them all well in their upcoming concert.”
