Claire Butler, Hallgarth Care Home's visiting nurse practitioner, asked for the home's help with providing knitted hats for the baby units at local hospitals as supplies for newborn and premature babies were running low.
As always, Hallgarth stepped up to the plate and got together to help. It was a real team effort as residents, friends, families and staff picked up their knitting needles and got busy making hats of all colours, shapes and sizes, as well as some adorable little jackets.
Well done to everyone who helped and thank you for your wonderful efforts on behalf of Hallgarth and all the local hospitals that have benefited.
