Residents of Copper Beeches Care Home had a lovely surprise from a local school.
The year 4 students of Swingate Primary School wrote heart-warming letters and drew beautiful pictures for our residents. This activity was party of the students’ home learning plan.
Along with the lovely messages, the school wrote in a letter stating, “We hope that these letter and drawings find you well and help you remember fond memories or give you something to look forward to in the future.”
These messages were a lovely gesture and all our residents enjoyed hearing about the children’s interests and what they’ve been doing to keep busy. One student spoke about how they wanted to be a pilot, telling our residents “It started at the start of 2020 when I saw something called easyJet inside the cockpit and it was really inspiring.”
Thank you Swingate Primary School!
