Guests at Holybourne Day Centre participated in a Life Long Reading activity led by Alison Waller. The activity involves reading all their beloved, childhood books and reminiscing about their lives with everyone in the group.
Childhood books play a big role in shaping our identity and future tastes, so rereading them can help bring back old memories and emotions, and allow participants make connections with their lives.
The session was incredibly inspiring, and everyone had a wonderful day reading all their old favourite stories and sharing their experiences.
