Residents at Howdon Care Centre in Wallsend have been getting busy for Easter by taking parts in different arts and crafts and practicing their towel art.
They originally practiced their towel art on Valentine’s Day creating lovely hearts and swans, however, Easter may prove to be a trickier theme. So the arts and crafts club got busy just in case the bunny towel art couldn’t be mastered.
Andrena Piggins, Home Manager, said: “This week’s craft club has been Egg-stravagant, making our loved ones beautiful handmade Easter cards. We used brightly coloured pompoms, feathers, buttons and stickers to help us achieve the final result.”
