With a special themed 'Music Day' coming up at Hallgarth Care Home soon, celebrating the music of the 1950's and 1960's, the home's popular Art Club was given a mission - to come up with the decor to take everyone back to that era.
After much discussion it was decided that the focal point should be a life sized juke box. It was not an easy task, and to make it manageable it was created like a giant jigsaw, with each piece copied, drawn out, cut up, painted and put back together!
It worked a treat, but the art club are currently sworn to secrecy so that on the big day itself everyone gets a lovely surprise before the show starts!
