Many of us dream about wedding day. We have visions of how it’s going to go and who will be there. The venue, the flowers, the dress, the guest list, the planning is sometimes never ending.
Worrying that a beloved family member can’t attend could lead to some sleepless nights. But one bride’s wish came true as her great uncle surprised her on her special day.
Mary, a resident at Longfield Care Home in Eglinton was greeted by her grandchild and their partner at the home, as she was unable to attend the wedding itself.
Mary said: “I was so pleased that I got to share some special moments with my loved ones on this lovely day. Both the bride and groom looked beautiful. I’m one very proud gran.”
Here at Four Seasons Health Care we strive to provide special resident experiences for those in our care. This can depend on their likes and dislikes, along with any activity the person has a burning desire to do. Enabling our residents to enjoy moments such as the one described above is one important aspect of the service our teams provide.
