Mahon Hall Care Home in Portadown put out a call for help to create a garden paradise for the residents.
Youngsters from the local Prince’s Trust answered the call, and helped the maintenance man transform the garden.
Cheryl King, Home Manager, said: “The young people have been really busy. They’ve tidied up the gardens, weeded, planted, painted the fence, all of which now looks fantastic.
“The young people built up such a fantastic rapport with the residents that they’ve decided they’re going to visit on a regular basis and challenge the residents to various different games. It’s great to see a project like this has helped to bridge the gap between the generations.”
