As the weather has become warmer, residents at Priory Park Care Home in Preston have been enjoying their gardens and this week were excited to take delivery of new features bought with winnings from last year's garden competition.
These include strings of ladybird lights, which have been hung in the trees to great effect.
Residents and staff have also been remembering a dearly loved member of the Priory Park community, Alan Bowe, whose fanily had given the home a rose bush to plant in his memory.
It was planted back in February and during recent gardening sessions, Alan's fellow residents were touched and pleased to see that it has bloomed beautifully.
