Mick's Memory Walk raises £150

With Memory Walks taking place all over the country to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society, Mick Cleland, a resident at Old Vicarage Care Home in Worksop, was inspired to complete his own walk to support people living with dementia.

Accompanied by staff members Stephanie Pridmore and Lindsay Stocken, Mick walked from Old Vicarage to Clumber Park and back, over seven miles in total!

He raised over £150 for the Old Vicarage's residents fund, ably assisted by volunteer Janet Wilson who collected sponsors in her local area.

Mick said he loves living at Old Vicarage and he wanted to take the opportunity to give something back.

Well done Mick and big thanks to Stephanie, Lindsay and Janet on a fantastic team effort!
