Congratulations to the team at Murdoch House Care Home who have received a ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following a recent inspection.
The home was praised for its person-centred care and rated ‘Good’ overall and in the key categories inspected; ‘Safe’ and ‘Well-led’.
Inspectors spoke with residents and their family members to gain feedback which included appreciation for how the team at the home cares for and engages with residents:
"My relative is regularly involved and the management go above and beyond".
"I feel safe here and the staff are very friendly… I feel listened to".
The CQC reported that they had observed there to be a positive and caring culture amongst the team at the home; “Staff knew people they supported well and cared about their wellbeing. They were regularly observed having friendly and open conversations with people”.
Home Manager, James Morl, said: “We are extremely proud of this achievement which is testament to the entire team’s commitment and dedication. Providing extraordinary care is all about putting our residents’ health and happiness at the heart of everything we do.”
