The recent bouts of snow have caused disruption up and down the country, but when a team member at the Old Vicarage Care Home in Worksop got turned away from her local school, she brought her children into the home to play games with the residents.
Pauline Clews, Home Manager, said: “When our lovely team member was informed that the school was shut for a snow day, she invited her children into the home to help the residents enjoy their very own snow day. They went with our Personal Activity Leaders and played board games with the residents and had a chat. The resident really enjoyed this and the children asked when they could come again”
