Residents at Stobhill Care Home in Glasgow participated in a poetry-based workshop facilitated by a member of a project called PaUSE (Poetry as Unifying Shared Experience)
This project aims to use poetry reading and discussion to enhance the residents’ wellbeing. This is achieved through mutual listening and storytelling, and allows participants to more openly connect with each other, their family and care staff.
The group thoroughly enjoyed the activity and all agreed that their mood improved as a result of the session.
