The initiative asks people to send postcards to residents in care homes, with the aim of combatting loneliness and isolation across the country, and reminding residents that there's always somebody thinking of them - regardless of where in the world the postcards have come from. It's a way of virtually travelling the world alongside card writers while sharing their holiday adventures; so memories are stirred and imaginations piqued!
These cards have provoked joy and discussion - and the home would like to extend a special thanks to Broomhill Brownies, who sent five handmade cards with lovely handwriting and now have a reply letter from The Meadows guys and girls en route in the post!
