Children from Almondbury Community School popped in to have some fun with residents at Southfield Court Care Home in Huddersfield last week.
The group enjoyed lots of different activities, but it was the story telling that brought both young and old out of their shells. They also swapped Easter gifts and enjoyed nibbling on some chocolate.
Volunteer Charlie from Southgate School helped the residents make Easter cards for their loved ones.
Clare McCourt, Home Manager, explained: “It’s great to see the energy that bringing these two sets of generations together can have. We’re hoping it becomes a regular thing.”
