In celebration of our Laughter and Sunshine event, Gardening Club here at Evedale Care Home has planted sunflowers to place around the home.
As residents decorated their flowerpots, they discussed their favourite flowers such as forget-me-nots, roses, bluebells, and tulips. Everyone agreed that sunflowers made them smile and brightened up a room.

- The magnitude and height of a sunflower
- The beautiful sunshine like petals
- The way the plant attracts bees
- The memory of sunflowers on sunny days in our gardens
We hope our sunflowers make you smile as much as they make us smile and let’s continue to spread the sunshine!
Evedale Care Home is located in Coventry and provides Nursing Care, Nursing Dementia Care and specialist care to support mental health.
