Theatre Outing for Brimington Care Home

Residents at Brimington Care Home thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Pomegranate Theatre in Chesterfield once again!

Every 3 months, Derbyshire County Council put on a musical Dementia screening at their local theatre which includes the film on a big screen and complimentary tea, coffee, cake, activities and quizzes plus free twiddlemuffs to take away.

The outing is a really lovely afternoon for residents, relatives and colleagues and so far they have watched Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Singing in the rain and it's a Wonderful Life. Next on the agenda is Summer Holiday and everyone is really excited about that!

Waiting to watch Singing in the Rain from left to right is resident Shirley with daughter Sharon, resident Vera, resident Evelyn with daughter Jackie, resident Ena and Senior Carer Donna from Brimington Care Centre.

Brimington Care Home is a purpose-built residential dementia home set in a pleasant village on the outskirts of Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Our compassionate team works hard to make everyone feel at home.
