Residents and staff at Kingswood Lodge Care Centre in Wotton-under-Edge enjoyed a summer stroll around the village earlier this month, assisted by volunteers and relatives.
It was a truly lovely afternoon for all involved, allowing the residents to check up with what was new in the village and connect with the local community as well as immerse themselves in nature for a while, listening to the birds, admiring different varieties of trees and plants and feeling the heat of the sun.
Thanks go to all the volunteers and relatives who enabled the walk to take place - in particular Mr Terrence Luker, who captured the event with a series of photographs.
