Volunteers from NCS social action visited residents at Kilburn care home in Derbyshire to put on a range of entertaining activities.
This included flower arranging, pampering, helping with meal times and refreshments or just chatting and socialising with residents. The volunteers even helped handy man Rob to spruce up the garden.
Kilburn’s home Manager says: “I would like to thank the volunteers very much for their hard work and kindness shown to the residents and our team - they should be proud of themselves. We appreciate the kind messages they left behind and hope to see them again in the future.”
