It appeared to be a barking mad Friday, when a four legged friend popped in to say hello to residents at Westroyd House Care Home in Shepshed.
Cara Frayling, Home Manager, said: “Pet Therapy is good for residents as it enables them to get up close and personal with an animal, which can have a soothing effect. Many of our residents had pets before they joined us, so this is a nice little homage to our animal lovers. The dog was a huge success and many of the residents wanted to sneak it away before it went home.”
