A garden makeover for Hilltop Manor

At Four Seasons every employee, whether they work directly in the home or support our wonderful care teams are passionate about providing happy places to live for residents.

So this week the Four Seasons Marketing and Business Development teams donned their gardening gloves and tools and prepped the large grounds at Hilltop Manor Care Home in Staffordshire to help the home with their plans to develop a new sensory garden for residents to enjoy – an area that uses colourful plants, surfaces and objects to stimulate senses through touch, sight, scent and hearing which can be particularly beneficial for people living with dementia.

The enthusiastic team mowed lawns, trimmed hedges, cut and pruned and painted to make way for the new sensory feature. They also changed the layout of the garden by digging up shrubs to make way for a new path for better access – just in time for summer!

This is just one of the ways we demonstrate our company values which include to improve the lives of our residents, bring a little joy to everyday experiences and make a difference.
