April 2017 saw Four Seasons’ Health Care Grampian Region launch their VIP (Values In Practice) initiative which rewards people for living the Four Seasons values of being:
- and Making a Difference
Eleanor-Rose Park, fundraiser for Dounemount Care Home in Macduff has been crowned VIP for the month of January after being nominated by the care team, residents and relatives.
Rae McDonald, Home Manager, said: “We decided to do a novelty VIP this month. Eleanor is 7 years old and the granddaughter of Fiona our Deputy Manager. Eleanor designed and made Christmas cards and sold them to family and friends. She kindly donated this money to the resident fund at Dounemount and for this reason we all agreed she should be the VIP! Eleanor was delighted to come in and get her photo taken which is now displayed on the VIP board.”
Sylvia Nicoll, Regional Manager for Grampian, said: “No matter how big or small the action or the gesture is, the VIP Awards are an opportunity to say thank you to people who go above and beyond the call of duty every day to make a difference to our residents’ lives.
“Congratulations Eleanor-Rose, you should all be really proud of your success.”
