April 2017 saw Four Seasons’ Health Care Grampian Region launch their VIP (Values In Practice) initiative which rewards people for living the Four Seasons values of being:

Lovell Castrence, Senior Nursing Care Assistant at Laurels Lodge Care Home in Woodside has been crowned VIP for the month of January after being nominated by colleagues, residents and relatives.
Lovell is a Senior Nursing Care Assistant who works night shifts but is very visible in the home and is known to everyone. He takes part in the activities and events in the home.
Lovell had four nominations for the VIP award, one of them from a resident’s relative who said: “I have confidence in Lovell, he looks after my partner very well.”
Marlene Smith, Personal Activity Leader, said: “He is a very calm, caring nurse, always pleasant and goes the extra mile in caring for the residents.”
Sheila Gesma, Home Manager, said: “A VIP indeed, Lovell deserves the recognition as he lives up to the values and for his dedication and commitment. Congratulations Lovell and may you continue to be a good example to your colleagues. Well done!”
Sylvia Nicoll, Regional Manager for Grampian, said: “No matter how big or small the action or the gesture is, the VIP Awards are an opportunity to say thank you to people who go above and beyond the call of duty every day to make a difference to our residents’ lives.
“Congratulations Lovell, you should all be really proud of your success.”
