Welcome to Triangle Care Home
Ours is a modern purpose-built home in Wheatley, Oxfordshire, where we offer nursing care 24 hours a day. The people who live here have varying needs, from specialist nursing support to general assistance with everyday living, and we provide for these in a compassionate, home-from-home environment.
All our rooms are tastefully decorated and have en-suite facilities, and we also have a large, bright conservatory, and lounges where residents pursue their hobbies. Outside, many take pleasure in helping maintain the mature garden, with its flower beds and patio area; or just relaxing and socialising, especially with family and friends when they come to visit. There is also ample free parking, which is a bit of a plus in Oxford!
Our dining rooms are warm and welcoming. Tables are laid with fresh linen and menus displayed to show the choices available. Depending on how they feel, residents can choose to have their meals in their own rooms or in our dining room. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.
Life at Triangle Care Home
Thanks to our dedicated activities coordinator we have a full and varied activities calendar with events planned throughout the year. Singers and other professional entertainers often perform, and we enjoy visits from a Pets as Therapy dog.
We encourage friends and family to join us for meals or afternoon tea any time. Our Sunday lunch is particularly popular with residents and their relatives.
We organise trips to local places of interest, including the library, park and museum.
A local hairdresser visits every Tuesday and a chiropodist is available on request.
I cannot speak too highly of the standard of nursing care my father received during about 9 months at The Triangle. The team are kind, patient and always have time to discuss what is happening. The local doctors and specialists also speak highly of them. The fact they make good porridge was also a big bonus for my dad. I wish we didn't have to have privately owned care homes but if we do, then The Triangle is a good example.
I would come back again. I've really enjoyed it and would come again. I've had lots of laughs.
I'm happy and feel safe here. We've enjoyed trips out.
Purely that the sitting room could be improved with natural lighting instead of overhead lights being on all day! I am aware that it is extremely dark in the sitting room but if it was decorated in lighter colours and windows were more exposed it would be nicer for the residents.
We have had a relative in this care home some years ago who was treated with kindness so it was obvious that this friend (now resident and who lived many years in Wheatley) should go into the Triangle as all her friends could visit her as well as a few of her relatives.
I've enjoyed my stay, felt well looked after and safe here, staff have been pleasant to me.
Mum has been a resident here for four years and during that time she has responded very well to staff and carers. She is well looked after and is always cheerful and well turned out. All in all very happy with Triangle Care Home.
Good choice of foods at meal times. Friendly staff. Good sized rooms.
Excellent care. Nice food. Enjoyed a birds of prey show that came in. Joined in most day activities provided.

Friday 16th June marked Care Home Open Day, a day that actively encourages people in the local community to pop into their local care home and find out what’s going on.
The theme for this year’s open day was friendship, and Four Seasons homes and their local community certainly forged some long lasting friendships with their local communities through a variety of different events.
The events included:
- The Prince’s Trust heading into Kingsmead Care Home in Swindon sprucing up the garden
- Ty Eirin Care Home in Port welcomed in local school children and councillors for a fun filled afternoon
- A Jazz band kept everyone entertained in Pontypridd at Ty Gwynno Care Home
- It was a more sleepy affair at Whittington Care Home in Chesterfield as the team turned up for work in the PJs before having lots of fun with residents, relatives and visitors to the home
- Music and dancing was definitely on the cards for many of our homes as Benarty View Care Home in Kelty, Gotton Manor Care Home in Taunton, Benholm Care Home in Forfar and Laurels Lodge Care Home in Woodside, all had musical entertainment (and an assortment of other activities) for their guests
- Campsie View Care Home in Glasgow had their own petting zoo for everyone to enjoy
- The Laurels Care Home in Hetton-le-Hole held a country and western themed day which everyone thoroughly enjoyed
- Jazz was the music of choice at The Cedars and Larches Care Home in Ilkeston’s festivities.
- Redwell Hills Care Home in Consett, remembered the friends they’d sadly lost and released some balloons with messages in their honour.
The photos you can see above are just a snap shot of what happened at our homes during Care Home Open Day. It’s great to see from the pictures that everyone had lots of fun.

12th-18th June marks Carers Week, and here at Four Seasons Health Care we wanted to say thank you to the thousands of carers in our homes who regularly make a difference to the lives of our residents and their families.
In 2016 at the Four Seasons Care Awards, colleagues, residents, families and health care professionals identified the cream of the crop. However, over the past 18 months, positive praise has continued to arrive commending the care and kindness shown by our carers from across the organisation.
Watch this space to see if you can see your favourite carer on our website and social media pages.
You are our heroes of the week. Well done everyone!

A Wheatley care home has scored around 95% overall performance rating in a national survey of people living in care homes. The Triangle Care Home, scored 949 points from a possible maximum of 1,000 in the survey for “Your Care Rating".
The overall performance rating is derived from four core themes: staff and care, home comforts, choice and having a say and the quality of life being experienced by the residents.
The home, which is operated by Four Seasons Health Care, also scored the maximum possible 100% satisfaction rating for its standards of care and 100% for people being happy with life in the home.
The independent confidential survey was conducted by leading market research organisation Ipsos MORI.
The Triangle achieved the maximum possible 100% rating for being safe and secure and for the care team treating residents with kindness, dignity and respect. All respondents said that the care team understand them as an individual, are sensitive to how they are feeling and are capable of providing the care they need.
The home scored around 97% or 968 out of 1,000 around the theme of the quality of life for people living in the home.
It scored 100% among respondents for the choice of meals offered and for the quality of food served. It also scored 100% for offering activities for residents to take part in if they want.
Marjorie Condacos, Regional Managing Director for Four Seasons Health Care, who run the home, said: "All the care team are delighted that in this independent national survey the residents at The Triangle rated the home so highly.
"The survey outcome corresponds with the responses we have had directly from residents, their relatives and care professionals who are able to give us instant feedback on a day to day basis about any aspect of care quality, by using iPads placed in the home with a touch-screen questionnaire linked to purpose designed software. This has been recording a 100% overall customer satisfaction rating.”
The home is rated as “good” by the Care Quality Commission. The CQC inspectors reported that residents told them: “Extraordinary, the staff have amazed me.” “Nothing is too much trouble". “We are like one big happy family.” A relative said: “Staff are caring, very much so. I cannot fault anyone of them. They are always happy and enthusiastic and they really connect with people here."
