Welcome to Tudor Grange Care Home
Ours is a charming, friendly home in Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, where we provide a high standard of care 24 hours a day.
Residents' needs vary from specialist support and help with everyday living, to just a helping hand so they can retain some independence. Some stay with us permanently, others for short periods of time. We also offer respite care to give home carers a much needed break.
All our private single and double bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are decorated to a high standard.
Residents can pursue their hobbies in quiet and communal lounges throughout the home. We also have a large patio seating area which is popular in the summer. These and other spaces are used for relaxing and socialising, especially when friends and family come to visit.
Life at Tudor Grange Care Home
Our activities programme is tailored to residents' preferences, and includes arts and crafts, quizzes and baking. We love to organise regular trips to the coast, restaurants, museums and the theatre.
We also provide a regular church service which is open to all residents, their families and friends.
We have highly nutritious and varied menus and cater for all dietary and cultural needs. All our food is prepared using fresh ingredients every day in our kitchens. Our dining rooms are warm and welcoming.
Tables are laid with fresh flowers and linen, and menus displayed to show the choices available. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.
Depending on how they feel, residents can choose to have their meals in their own rooms or in our dining room. We encourage friends and family to join us for meals or afternoon tea any time.
I feel at home when I visit my mother and feel confident that she is being well looked after, I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else.
The manager will always spend time taking to you and will help you with any problems you have. I would recommend the home to anyone
Excellent communications on progress and condition. The staff are very friendly and my mum is content.
I can walk in to the Home and feel comfortable. Everybody is always so friendly. It just feels like going to my mums house and I don't worry about going home.
The food is very good and if there is nothing on the menu I like an alternative is always offered. There are snacks and drinks available whenever I want one.
I am always informed of any changes to my mothers care or condition. Its gives me great peace of mind to know she is well cared for
The number and variety of activities provided by the home is excellent.
I don't know how to thank you all enough for the wonderful way in which you cared for my Dad. You made him feel special and loved. You made him happy.

Four Seasons Health Care picked up three accolades on Tuesday 5th December 2017 at the Training Journal (TJ) Awards. Winning three categories meant that Four Seasons Health Care led the way, as they were the only organisation to win in multiple categories.
Who were the winners?
The Dementia Care Framework won the ‘Best Change Management Programme’, which is a fantastic achievement and further highlights the positive impact this is having on the lives of people living in Four Seasons homes with dementia.
The Judges commented: “We recognise Four Health Care work in the field of dementia care as innovative and thorough in its approach, being both effective and transformative. It had a bold vision that was well executed in a challenging environment.”
The Care Home Nursing Journal (CNJ), Four Seasons’ very own internal publication to develop nurse knowledge and share best practice won its category of ‘Best Organisational Development Programme'.
The Judges commented: “The design of this intervention, which on the surface appears very simple, completely meets the needs of the organisation and has had significant impact. A particular strength was that Four Seasons Health Care decided to make these resources freely available to anyone, making the impact even greater and is improving healthcare outcomes in care homes everywhere.”
Finally, Louise Morris the Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAP) Lead won the main award of the night and was crowned the ‘Learning and Development Professional of the Year’.
The Judges stated: “Louise has had a transformational impact, not only on the learning and development of staff at Four Seasons Health Care, but also on the well-being of residents. Through a review of an existing programme, Louise drove design and improvement which has had significant benefits through improved care, staff practice and confidence and commitment to their work and professional development.”
Congratulations to everyone on this fantastic achievement!

All of our homes do a variety of activities with the residents in their care. They engage the residents in activities they enjoy – based on the resident’s likes and dislikes – and even undertook before they moved into the home.
Tudor Grange Care Home in Radcliffe-on-Trent holds regular arts and crafts session, which all of the residents really enjoy.
Anita Wyke, Home Manager, said: “The arts and crafts afternoons are something the residents look forward to every week. It’s great to see them showing off their creative side. Whether that’s creating Easter cards, flowers, models, paintings, the list really is endless. This week they enjoyed getting crafty with aqua paints. I look forward to seeing what creative juices are flowing in the home each week.”
