Living Well Together
Moving In - A positive experience
Making an enquiry
We know that finding the right care for yourself or a loved one can be a difficult process, however our professional and caring teams can help you navigate choosing a suitable care home.
As a part of your enquiry, you can now book to meet our senior team in the home and have a face-to-face meeting to discuss care and support and guide you through the process in person. We have clear Visitor Protocols in place for these visits to help keep everyone safe.
Where possible, in person visits will include the viewing of a typical bedroom and our living space. So you will be able to get a good feel and an idea about life in our care home.
We still offer virtual and standard phone call appointments if this is preferred.
An important aspect of moving into a care home is an ‘assessment’. This involves a discussion between the resident or family to establish the care needs of the resident to make sure that we can provide the care and support they need, alongside getting to know the resident, their likes and dislikes and the life they lead.
This is usually completed in advance and can be carried out in person or over the phone. We also work closely with hospitals and complete assessments on the hospital ward if it is possible to do so.
