On the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month we all take a moment to remember those who have fought for our Queen and country over many decades.
Residents at Amelia House Care Home in York paid their respects by creating lovely pieces of art that they then displayed in their home.
David Ramage, Home Manager, said: “Our residents wanted to do something special to mark Remembrance Day. They wanted to depict a famous scene, and they did just that. They stood in front of their artwork while they remembered the fallen. They now hang pride of place in our home.”
