Many of us dream about wedding day. We have visions of how it’s going to go and who will be there. The venue, the flowers, the dress, the guest list, the planning is sometimes never ending.
Worrying that a beloved family member can’t attend could lead to some sleepless nights. But one bride’s wish came true as her great uncle surprised her on her special day.
John Trubody, a resident at Bishopsmead Lodge Care Home in Bristol attended the event with Home Manager Francaise Miles on his arm.
John Trubody said: “I was so pleased that I could attend my great niece’s wedding day after months of being told I couldn’t attend due to my ill health. I want to thank Francaise who helped me to prepare for the day by sorting my suit and shining my shoes. It’s a day I’ll never forget.”
Here at Four Seasons Health Care we strive to provide special resident experiences for those in our care. This can depend on their likes and dislikes, along with any activity the person has a burning desire to do. Enabling our residents to enjoy moments such as the one described above is one important aspect of the service our teams provide.
