Bracknell welcomes all creatures great and small

Residents at Bracknell Care Home in Bracknell had a whale of a time when they celebrated World Animal Day.

Everyone monkeyed around as they acted like their favourite animals putting on different masks and making silly noises.

To add a bit of something special, Maintenance Man Dean Forbes and is wife Sue brought in a few of their animals for people to enjoy.

Natsayi Dunira, Home Manager, said: “The residents loved having cuddles with the rabbits and getting to know the tortoise. We’re all true animal lovers here at Bracknell and it’s safe to say everyone enjoyed this little bit of pet therapy.”

World Animal Day is celebrated on 4th October each year and aims to raise the status of animals to improve their welfare standards around the globe, making the world a better place for them.
