The traditional Ilkeston Chartered Fair, one of the oldest and largest in Europe came to town last month.
Residents from The Cedars and Larches Care Home in Ilkeston visited the 764th fair, enjoying the side shows and other treats that were on offer.
Nina Wright, Home Manager, said: “Everyone had a lovely time at the fair. Many of our residents have been going to this fair since they were children, so were happy they could keep the tradition going. For those residents who couldn’t physically go to the fair, Alison our Personal Activities Leader brought the fair to them. She brought back lots of sweet treats for everyone to enjoy.
“This is one example of how our care team strive to provide special experiences for our residents.”
