Dene Grange has got Talent!

Last month in the run up to Christmas, Dene Grange Care Home in Hexham held their very own talent show. The team arranged for people from the management team, other homes and the Care Quality Commission to come and be judges for the evening.

Both residents and the team were able to perform their talents and face the judging panel made up of 5 people – Amanda Cunningham (Managing Director North East), Jacky Reed (Regional Manager), Louise Morris (CQC Facilitator), Katherine Storey (Lead Inspector CQC) and Craig Swan from Orchard Care. Families and friends of all were also invited to join in the fun. The evening exceeded all expectations in terms of the quality of entertainment and excellence of lighting and sound. The team were overwhelmed by all the positive comments from people that attended.

Nanette Swan, Home Manager, told us “It was a very ambitious task to pull off such an event for Dene Grange, but with the determination and professionalism of the team - we pulled it off spectacularly. It went well and was nothing but good humour throughout. We are already being asked when the next one will be. Thank you to all who took part”.
