The award Craig has won commends him for going above and beyond the call of duty to make a difference to the daily experiences of those in his care.

Following over 1,200 nominations, Craig was shortlisted with five other colleagues from over 300 Four Season’s Care Homes across the UK.

Joanne Strain, Head of Care Standards and Quality for Four Seasons, presented Craig with this award said: “Craig was a very worthy winner as he oozed enthusiasm. He has a fantastic rapport with everyone he meets, whether that’s a resident, relative or visiting professional. He epitomises the fantastic nurses we have here in our homes. Congratulations Craig.”

Sarah Ashton, Home Manager for Cameron House Care Home said: “We have no idea where we would be without Craig. His commitment to the residents in the home is second to none. He knows all there is to know about them, not just from a care perspective but from a personal perspective too. Well done Craig, you are a worthy winner of this award.”

On receiving the award, Craig said: “I’m really happy that I’ve won this award. I want to thank my Home Manager Sarah for her continued support and guidance. Without her giving me a break and helping to guide me through my care career I wouldn’t be here today. Everyone who was nominated was a winner so I feel very privileged to be recognised in this way.”
