Providing residents with activities they enjoy is all part and parcel for life at a Four Season’s Care Home. This is indeed what happens at Cherry Trees Care Care Home in Barnsley.
The past week has seen residents getting their hands dirty during gardening club, with residents planting hanging baskets to add a bit of spring colour to the outside of the building. All of the budding gardeners have got another couple of projects in the pipeline, so keep your eyes peeled for the blossoming blooms at Randolph House.
Some of the residents like to embrace their competitive nature. The home ran a snooker competition to see who would be the proud owner of the trophy. Richard Wilson reigned supreme with everyone having a fabulous time. After all, it’s the taking part that counts.
So whether it’s gardening or sport related, craft driven or relaxing, residents get a wide variety of choice based on their likes and dislikes. With 99% of the residents satisfied with every aspect of care that is provided to them, the team at the home must be doing something right.
