The main man himself popped into Hallgarth Care Home to find out who’d been naughty and nice during the Durham home’s Christmas Fair.
Angela Muir, Home Manager, said: “We’re very grateful to Father Christmas for popping in during his busiest time of year.
“He got up close and personal with our pet therapy dog Mapachi and his owner Meg. He met resident Mary Murphy, who told him she’d been very good this year, unlike some of the other people in the home, especially the care team! Before he left he visited all of our stalls and gave out early presents to everyone.”
Father Christmas, said: “It was nice to meet everyone at Hallgarth. They had activities suitable for people of all ages. I look forward to visiting them again on Christmas Eve.”
