Four residents from Hesslewood House Care Home in Hessle, have been limbering up for a bowling competition. The competition takes place on Wednesday 20th April and sees residents compete against other homes in the area.
Michelle Pepworth, Home Manager, said: “The residents here have really embraced their competitive edge. I do worry about their opponents at the competition because we do have some amazing bowlers here at Hesslewood. I want to wish our team the best of luck, we’ve got everything crossed for you.”
Elsewhere in the home, the residents have treated themselves to a new Spring wardrobe to welcome in the warmer weather. After their busy shopping trip, the residents settled down to a dominoes tea party to indulge in some much needed relaxation.
There was a new activity at Hesslewood last week. The home introduced drum therapy. The residents had a fantastic time and there were some decipherable tunes amongst the chaos.
