On Friday 24th June, clients from Holybourne Day Centre in London went on a trip to Feltham Farm, to see what it would be like to spend the day as a farmer.
Christine Smith, Day Centre Manager, said: “The clients had a fantastic day out. Tey got to meet a wide variety of animals, and even fed some of them. It’s safe to say you can understand why pigs are classed as greedy. The one at Feltham wouldn’t stop eating!
“After they’d fed the animals, the clients settled down to their own picnic, before getting to grips with some domesticated and exotic animals. The only thing that seemed to get the bad reception was the snake, with some clients and most of the team trying to avoid her like the plague. Poor snake.”
