Kings Reach Residents take part in local Beetle Drive

A beetle drive came to Kings Reach Care Home in Ramsey recently which saw residents, relatives, the care team and local community fund raise for Ramsey Grammar School.

Jude Garganta, Home Manager, said: “Everyone who took part in the beetle drive said how much fun they had and the hoped to do it again. The residents got a little bit competitive as they wanted to be the first to draw their beetles and get the highest score. It may be something we look into just to play for fun here in the home.”

A Beetle Drive is based on the children’s game Beetle, where people roll a dice in the hopes of drawing a beetle based on the number they get. Each number corresponds to a body part and players must roll a 6 (to draw a body) before they can begin to build their beetle.
